Objective: SWBAT demonstrate their comprehension of the events that take place on Halloween through MC questions at 70% accuracy, and defend a claim about why the first part of the book ends with these events in a short CEEL. AFTER READING but BEFORE EXIT TICKET, scholars will reflect on how the end of Part One makes them feel and discuss how Palacio achieves that effect.
