STEP 3 Begin your research! You will keep track of your research on the document that you copied. Make sure to cite where your information came from. For this project, please provide the title of the website you are using, as well as the website link. Do not rely on Wikipedia! Try to find sources that are credible and reliable. I suggest Google Scholar, Encyclopedia Britannica, and the UNESCO website. Remember, reliable sources usually end in .edu or .gov! RESEARCH IS DUE WEDNESDAY MARCH 6 AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.

With your group today, you should make sure to do the following things:
1. Assign roles and read through the script once without stopping. 2. Make any changes to your script. When you read it out loud for the first time, you will start noticing what makes sense, what DOES NOT make sense, and what things could be made better! 3. Continue the editing process until your team is happy with the product. Your final script should be easy to understand and have a clear plot. The audience should be able to follow along easily, be able to tell who your tragic hero is, and understand the story. 4. Create any props or masks your team will need with paper. I will have some materials out for you to choose from. Please be gentle while using my supplies. If you are making masks, try to create a mask that reflects the CHARACTER! 5. Figure out entrances, exits, and movement. Decide where your actors are going to stand "on stage," where they are going to enter and exit, and if they are going to move around at all. Adjust your stage directions to include these actions. 6. Practice! You do not need to memorize your lines, but remember that this is ENTERTAINMENT! It's okay to get dramatic here! 7. If your group is intending on using any music, remember that it MUST be approved by me. EXPECTATIONS All group members must contribute and participate. If any member of any group is not completing their fair share of the work, or is disrupting the group's progress and success, they will receive a referral on Deans List. Please remember that this is a GRADED CLASS and that the work you do in here MATTERS, even if it is creative and artistic. Art matters to the world, and it deserves your attention. STEP 1: If you have not already submitted the Google Form, please go back to DAY 1 and complete it ASAP.
